Architectural Technician

Our client who specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of high quality bespoke timber framed extensions are looking for an experienced Architectural Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday and receive a salary of £30-40,000 per annum DOE.

Ideally, you will have an architectural qualification and have experience working unsupervised on high end and bespoke projects within the UK. Once familiar with the product you will be expected to take on the role of principle designer on whole projects from concept design at sales stage, through manufacture to installation and completion on site.


  • Qualification in Architecture or architectural technology/construction
  • A sound understanding of building design and construction
  • Knowledge of building regulations
  • Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Attention to detail and high levels of concentration
  • Strong approach to problem solving
  • Able to work on own initiative.

Desirable experience:

  • Experience in structural engineering – this could be a qualification or working closely with qualified structural engineers.
  • UK experience and working knowledge of CDM Regulations
  • Experience of working with timber frame buildings
  • Experience of commercial building projects.
