An immediate opportunity is now available for an Area Mortgage Manager to join an estate agency company based in Portsmouth/Horsham area. Our client is offer a basic salary of £40,000 (OTE £70-£75,000).

This is a permanent position and you will be managing a team of Mortgage Advisors. You will be motivating, coaching and managing the Advisors throughout. 

In this Area Mortgage Manager position, work you’ll complete will include:

  • Attend morning meetings
  • Regular visits and meetings with the Advisors to monitor their performance
  • Liaising with the Residential directors
  • Resolving any complaints that many arise
  • Ensuring new Advisors are set up and integrated into their office environment
  • Working alongside the advisors and by means of discussion, role play and demonstrations to ensure they become fully operations in a timely manner
  • Perform 1st line compliance process
  • Be responsible for your own work load

  • Previous managerial experience
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others
  • A background in mortgage advice and sales
  • The ability to build rapport
  • Great communications skills both written and verbal
  • Hard working and focus
