Contract Account Manager, London
 
Our client is currently looking for a Contract Account Manager to join their team in London.
 
The role is a 50/50 split between account management and new business development, the BD aspect is particularly focused on the design and build market. Working closely with the Brand Sales Manager and the other Contract Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving and building the targeted growth of the brand and revenue of the business.
 
Key Responsibilities as a Contract Account Manager:
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients based mainly in London area.
  • Identify new prospect clients.
  • Developing new business opportunities in London
  • Developing new business opportunities in key regions throughout the UK
  • Acting as the first point of contact for your client’s questions, enquiries
  • Supporting and attending business events, trade shows etc.
  • Arranging and carrying out company and new products presentation to clients/prospects. Ensuring that all reseller staff are given regular product training.
  • Follow up on quotes and update CRM to generate accurate reports. 
  • Generate accurate reports on the status of existing accounts and new business.
Skills needed for the Contract Account Manager role:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the furniture industry
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • A client focused attitude with enthusiasm and outgoing personality
  • Self-motivated and confident in own ability to perform
  • Passionate about the design process and customer service
  • Knowledge of Sage or similar software
  • Experience of industry sustainability schemes desirable but not essential
