Finance / Accounts Assistant – Salisbury, Wiltshire (Full Time (Monday to Friday), Permanent)

We are currently working with a firm based in the outskirts of Salisbury who is looking for an experienced Finance Accounts Assistant to join their team.

As a Finance Accounts Assistant, you will be assisting with the administration and management of our company computerised financial accounting systems, focusing on the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and banking functions.

Duties and responsibilities as a Finance Accounts Assistant will include:

  • Working with Accounts receivable, continually reviewing and progressing accounts to ensure payments are received on time
  • Working with Accounts payable, to maintain Company cash flow targets and ensure our terms and conditions are met
  • Daily Banking and posting entries to the general ledger
  • Operating petty cash and posting to the general ledger
