Furniture Fitter / Installer

An immediate opportunity is now available for a Furniture Fitter/Installer to join a company based in Chard, Somerset.

This is a permanent position and you will be installing furniture and kitchens on sites across Europe.

As a Furniture Fitter/Installer you will be:

  • Travel to various cities across Europe for 4-24 weeks at a time (travel and accommodation provided)
  • Working on site to install furniture and kitchens
  • Portering of furniture and fittings to site
  • Liaison with on-site client representatives and other trades on site

If this sounds great, here’s what experience we are looking for:

  • Portering Skills
  • Joinery skills
  • Understanding of how building sites operate
  • Basic building construction knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines
  • Fluent German would be desirable
