Our client has a great opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join their team in Hampshire.
 
This Marketing Assistant role will give you the opportunity to work with many departments across our client’s business such as Sales, Marketing Communications, Customer Services and much more.
 
As a Marketing Assistant you will be responsible for daily administrative tasks from managing inbound emails from customers, internal requests from customer facing departments and data entry into their CRM system. You will also carry out tasks to help manage their website and this includes promotions, creating discount codes and more.
 
This role is very varied and we’re looking for someone creative and with a real passion for marketing!!
 
Key responsibilities as a Marketing Assistant:
 
  •  Responding to customer queries (internal and external) in a timely and accurate manner, including online and supplement queries.
  • Creating coupon codes for their website
  • Managing the Sales team to promote high usage of marketing tools and resources from Sales teams.
  • Keep Sales team updated of recent and new eCampaign product promotions.
  • Driving the increase of coupon code usage and microsites.
  • Creating coupon codes
  • Assisting with the maintenance of the company website including uploading new titles on the website regularly, keeping it fresh and accurate, as well as proactively seeking online enhancements.
  • Managing the entire product information process successfully
  • This includes liaising with internal departments to obtain information and setting up new products in the central database.
  • Ensuring product information is up-to-date in relevant systems.
  • Uploading sales tools to our CRM database
  • Updating prices and title information in our sales systems.
  • Preparation of sales tools and helping with the production of presentations including PowerPoints.
  • Research projects into customers, products, price and competitors.
  • Assisting with the production of marketing collateral and other sales and communication tools.
  • Running adoption reports for the Marketing Managers to use.
  • General cross-department support.
 
 
Job knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience required as a Marketing Assistant: 
 
  • Educated to A level or equivalent.
  • Good PC skills with good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Solid experience working within a busy and varied administrative role.
  • Experience dealing with customers, both internally and externally.
  • Good numeracy and written skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong grasp of grammar.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Works well under pressure whilst remaining customer-focused.
  • Flexible approach to tasks and a ‘can do’ attitude’.
