Practice Accounts Preparer– Salisbury (full-time, permanent)
We are currently looking for an Accounts Preparer to join an Independent Accountancy Practice based in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
We are looking for someone who has Practice experience and who has or is studying there ACCA.
Duties as a Practice Accounts Preparer:
- Preparation of accounts for limited companies, partnerships, LLPs and sole traders and related business tax computations
- Providing opening balance adjustments for clients
- Completing self-assessment tax returns for sole trade, partnership or limited company
- Preparation of charity accounts, independent examinations, receipts and payments accounts, PCC accounts
- Filing accounts and tax returns (Companies House and HMRC)
- Company secretarial (annual confirmation statements, filing changes of director, registered office etc)
- Drafting correspondence and emails to clients, liaising with HMRC
- Assisting in the provision of ad hoc advice to clients on vat, bookkeeping, taxation and related matters
- General admin tasks such as billing etc
Required skills and experience needed for the Practice Accounts Preparer role:
- ACCA full or part qualified
- Relevant recent practice experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Sage with experience of other electronic accounting packages such as Xero, Quickbooks
