Process Operatives  x 2 wanted in Southampton (Food processing experience) – Full time, Permanent
 
Our client is currently looking for 2 x Food Process Operatives to join their team in Southampton. 
 
You will be supporting the team by controlling and monitoring the equipment to ensure that all machinery is monitored and maintained efficiently throughout the end product.
 
The hours are…
  • 6am – 3pm Monday to Saturday
  • 2om - 10pm (Finish) Monday to Friday
  • 10am – 6pm Monday to Friday
  • (you will work one in every 3 Saturdays)
As a Process Operation you will be:
  • Ensure smooth running of processing plant
  • Review and identify potential issues with the operating processing equipment
  • Identify requirements for materials, to ensure smooth operation of the processing plant
  • Checking equipment and documenting data.
  • Report routine maintenance issues to the Team Leaders, Shift Managers, Production Manager and Engineering Team
  • Ensure that the equipment used to process the product are operating effectively
  • Ensuring processing plant is clean at all times
Skills required for this Process Operative role:
  • Attention to Detail
  • Ability to liaise at all levels within the organisation
  • Knowledge of health and safety
  • Operative in a fast-moving environment
  • Completing all required quality paperwork daily
  • Completing required processing checks as set out in our quality procedures
Desirable skills:
  • Have FMCG (food ideally) experience
  • Basic food hygiene HACCP Level 2
