Production Planner – North Dorset, Full time permanent (£24,000 - £26,000)

We are currently looking for a Production Planner to join a fast-growing company based in Dorset. Our client is looking for someone with production planning experience and knowledge of the ERP Systems.

The Production Planner role involves:

Production Planning

  • Generate & maintain accurate production plans to ensure maximum efficiency of the factory
  • Communicate any issues that may affect delivery of the product on time

Purchasing & Stock Control

  • Ensure that materials required for production are purchased in a timely manner and a sufficient quantity
  • Shop around to ensure that best value materials are purchased
  • Conduct a monthly stocktake

Analysis

  • Create reports to show OTIF, wastage and downtime
  • Use reports to identify how factory performance can be improved
