Team Leader role - Financial Services - Bolton - To start ASAP

Our client is looking for an experienced Team Leader to join their friendly office based on the outskirts of Bolton. They are part of a larger group with offices around the UK. The office is new and modern with large and spacious offices. Our client offers generous benefits, free parking and the security of being part of a fast growing, award winning group.

The ideal person for this Team Leader role will have strong leadership experience and come from a financial service background with high volume data processing.

Work closely with the Department Managers the Team Leader will proactively lead a team of administrators to ensure the daily management and accurate processing of complex, time pressured financial transactions.

Daily responsibilities

  • Direct line management of a team of administrators and senior administrators
  • Ensure the management of all daily workflows to include team members working remotely
  • Ensure engagement and support from the team to reduce/avoid backlogs
  • Operate company processes through straight-through-processing (STP), exception handling and non-STP
  • All allocated work to be managed within SLAs and KPIs
  • Ongoing coaching, mentoring and development of team members
  • Absence, performance and productivity management
  • Process analytics and produce Management Information reports
  • Work with Third parties to meet SLA’s
  • Ensure KPIs are meet

The ideal person will have the following experience:

  • Must be able to demonstrate experience of working in a similar role from within a financial services company.
  • Have had success leading a team to work at pace in a financial services environment of complexity and time-based pressure, retaining high levels of accuracy and control throughout.
  • Able to motivate and support individuals to operate effectively as a team.
  • Must be exceptionally proactive, with the ability to innovate and challenge in support of the business model they operate.
  • Be able to multitask and work to meet deadlines under pressure, maintaining attention to detail.

Own transport would be ideal as the office is based outside of Bolton.
