An immediate opportunity is now available for a PA to join a company based in Chard, Somerset.

This is a permanent position and you will be a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director.

As a PA to the MD you will be:

  • Planning of the Managing Director’s diary and undertake general office organisation
  • Controlling any incoming mail/email and act as confidential secretary
  • Arranging all Company travel and accommodation bookings
  • Drafting letters, board minutes, agendas and weekly Directors’ meeting notes as required
  • Preparing papers, reports and Powerpoint presentations as necessary
  • Call handling/telephone enquiries
  • Providing a welcoming environment for visitors and telephone callers
  • Managing Director expenses claims
  • Organising specific events and meetings as required
  • Arranging Managing Director’s attendance at conferences, exhibitions, shows and meetings

If this sounds great, here’s what experience we are looking for:

  • 5 GCSEs or educational qualification equivalent (with passes at Grade C or above in English)
  • The ability to write letters and maintain office systems.
  • Secretarial qualifications (advantageous)
  • Computer qualifications and knowledge of spreadsheets and Powerpoint
  • Previous experience in a PA/senior secretarial role
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
