Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly competent Senior Insolvency Administrator to lead our insolvency team. The Senior Insolvency Administrator will be responsible for managing complex and high-profile cases, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring the efficient execution of insolvency procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of financial analysis, legal proceedings, and exceptional leadership skills to guide the team and support clients through challenging financial situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Oversee a portfolio of complex insolvency cases, ensuring that each case progresses efficiently and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior insolvency administrators, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial assessments of individuals or businesses in insolvency, identifying key issues, assets, liabilities, and potential restructuring strategies.
  • Creditor Negotiations: Lead negotiations with creditors to achieve favourable outcomes for clients, balancing the interests of all stakeholders.
  • Asset Management: Supervise the efficient liquidation or management of assets, optimizing returns for creditors while adhering to legal requirements.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure that all insolvency procedures strictly adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records of insolvency cases, including financial reports, legal documentation, and correspondence.
  • Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact for high-profile clients, providing expert advice, explaining complex financial matters, and addressing their concerns.
  • Court Representation: Represent the firm and clients in court proceedings related to insolvency cases, presenting evidence, and providing strategic support.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with legal professionals, creditors, debtors, and other parties involved in insolvency cases, fostering strong professional relationships.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices to enhance the firm's insolvency services continually.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a senior insolvency administrator or a similar role within the financial or legal sector (3+ years).
  • Thorough knowledge of insolvency laws, bankruptcy regulations, and debt restructuring procedures.
  • Exceptional financial acumen and the ability to conduct complex financial analyses.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in legal documentation and reporting, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capability to handle multiple complex cases simultaneously.
  • Strong track record of successful insolvency case management.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPI) are highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
